Convenient location near train and SNIEC. Spacious, well-equipped rooms with good noise insulation and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Free mineral water and excellent breakfast. Gym, pool, sauna available. Good wifi.

View of sunsets was BEAUTIFUL. Located in 2 miles from jin mao tower. The whole experience was great.

Good ratio price quality when you want to go to the international exhibition center. Apart from that the hotel is not in a nice shopping area where you can wander around.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast offered a large variety and was well-managed, the executive lounge staff and food were excellent.

I did not like the restaurents close early, the luch they close at 2 pm and dinner at 10pm this is not acceptable for 5 star hotel. Also missed to see the chinease restaurent.

It was located in close proximity to the New Shanghai Exhibition center which made it very convenient for me to commute.

The air conditioning in the room was bad, felt that the compressor may not have been working. So at times it was very uncomfortable in the room, especially when under the covers. Another point of concern was the payment method at the time of booking. Most hotels suck payment only after the stay is over. However this hotel sucked my payment at the time of booking itself, which is a major cause for concern.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever seen, offering a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes. The staff were always willing to help, providing us with information about taxi services and subway stations, making transportation around this city easy. We were pleased to find that the hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and there were many bars and restaurants within walking distance, including some Western-style establishments. The cleanliness of the hotel was remarkable, and the facilities were modern and comfortable. the experience was fantastic.

It's location was perfect for my needs and despite the DTM race nearby they was no rush or crowds in the foyer area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The conciege was very good

The check in was a little slow but it all worked and was accurate. Parts of the hotel could do with some TLC and on Saturday evening some hot water in the shower would have been nice.

I love everything about sofitel jinjiang oriental, specially that we got upgraded to a Prestige Suite at the East wing, and the Room we got was awesome!!! Well-designed with great taste and very luxurious.... Your staff are very accommodating and they speak good English as well.... Absolutely great Hotel, I will surely recommend!!! Thumbs up!!!

Nothing that I do not like...

We had a luxurious stay with exclusive amenities and outstanding service. The spa and wellness centre was exceptional and we enjoyed the sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi to the fullest. The garden area provided a serene and calming environment for relaxation. The in-room breakfast was delectable and the restaurant offered special diet menus. The bar/lounge area had a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The private facilities added to the exclusivity of our stay.

The location was a bit remote and far from the city centre.

It was clean and the rooms large although our air conditioning wasn't effective. It was close to excellent, cheap restaurants, subway facilities and a good taxi service. The staff were very helpful

The hotel's fitness center was a highlight, with modern equipment and a convenient location on the top floor. Plus, the location was great for exploring the city and enjoying nearby attractions.

The internet connection was unreliable and frustrating, especially because I needed to work during my stay. The food and drinks were also overpriced and not very impressive, leading to disappointing meals and a less-than-ideal dining experience overall.

hotel was good overall but the cost of drinks there were very expensive 110RMB for one small bottle of local chinese beer????
